If you are looking for a weekly assignment, do the same as the regular P52 class this week… with this caveat:
Two shots: One from oblique and one from above. For you guys I do not care if you do the layout at all. I want you to make killer pour shots for your portfolio.
If you are a lifestyle photographer, add some people in the background.
If you are a still life, make the shot pop.
If you are a food photographer, add some food.
Do not over think this assignment… two shots of the same subject – the pour – one from the side and one from the top.
And of course, the setup shots.
BTW – it is certainly OK to think about pouring other substances – like soap bubbles, or milk shake, or… and what you pour it ON or INTO can be anything you want it to be.
This is the advanced class… think out of the box and creatively.
