ASSIGNMENT: CREATIVE STORM # 1

THE BRIEF:

You are to choose something very ordinary, and rather small to make photographs of. Purely creative photographs. Pushing your creativity as far as you possibly can within a short time frame.

Paper clips
Push pins
Clothespins
Paper clips
Markers
Pens
Pencils
Colored pencils
String
Rope
Rubber bands
Scissors
Nails / Screws
Thimbles

You get the drift. Mundane, ordinary items that you can use to create a set of creative images.

You are welcome to come up with your own items, but this is important:
YOU CAN USE NO MORE THAN TWO OF EACH TYPE OF ITEM IN THE WORK.

For instance: You can choose corks. You can shoot as many corks as you want. You can add string to the corks, but you cannot add any other genre of items to your photo. In other words, you cannot add colored pencils, for example, since you have two categories covered.

Choose only two selected types of items, use as much of either as you like. If you come up with your own mundane, easily identifiable item, make sure it fits with the above list.

YOU CAN SKETCH AND PLAN AS MUCH AS YOU WANT.

But you can only shoot for one hour. Setting up time and tearing down time is not included, only the time spent shooting. No breaks.

You have six sketches in front of you, and all your gear is set to go. Start the timer and set it for one hour. Now shoot with every kind of lens, light, angle that you can think of. the idea is to come up with an amazing photograph of a non-amazing subject.

ONLY ONE HOUR.

WHEN YOU GET Y0UR SELECTIONS INTO LIGHTROOM, CHOOSE 20 IMAGES AND MAKE THEM 5-STARS.
THEN SHOW THE 5 20 FIVE STARS AND DO A SCREEN GRAB OF THE TWENTY IMAGES. WE WANT TO SEE YOUR PROCESS.
