Shooting for catalog pages is a discipline that takes time and skill to develop. Colors must match, backgrounds must be similar enough that they do not distract the eye, and the lighting must be consistent.

Your assignment this week is to shoot three shots for this catalog “Flourish” which is a bit of an upscale publication. The pure black pages are quite glossy, and the printing is top drawer.

You are to shoot either:
One object at three different angles (and please have a reason for the multiple angles) or three objects that go together.

Your subject matter is from one of these four choices:

Motorcycle / Bicycle
Cosmetics
Kitchen Appliances
Electronic Gear (including cameras)

The PSD is attached, and you will size and place your images below the frames I have provided.

I want you to think glossy, think ‘High End’, and most definitely think – killer image for the portfolio (without the layout).
