WEBINARS AND WEBINAR ETIQUETTE.

We use ZOOM because it is the easiest and best across all platforms. It also allows me to record and save the video / audio components.

Rules for best usage:

Built-in Mics sort of suck unless you have a fairly new computer with noise dampening and anti-feedback. For best audio, use either the headphones from your phone or a dedicated headset for mic and audio.

Find as quiet a place as possible. Extraneous noise hampers your ability to concentrate and to be heard. The noise around you is actually amplified by the microphones trying to pull everything in. A dedicated mic or headphone setup will not do this.

Currently, since we are using ZOOM for our online meetings. You will have the ability to share your screen with us, and if you turn on your video, we will see you. It is a very robust system and doesn’t require a huge download of constantly updated software. You will also have the ability to record the meeting on your own computer. If you need help, let me know in the meetings.

The webinars are for YOU. Even if you do not have an image, it is a very good idea for you to attend the meetings. If not possible, I recommend you go back and watch a few of the archived videos to see what we were discussing.

Don’t drink and webinar.

Just kidding… knock yourself out and come to the meetings ready to learn!

Ask questions, ask the photographers what you want to know.

They last as long as they need to.
