I have always used checklists.

Because there was a time I didn’t. And I know what happened on many of those shoots.

(Like having to drive 50 miles back to a desert location to get the Polaroid back, and extra tripod left under a tree at the shoot.)

Bam – the checklist comes in super handy.

Checklist for packing gear out.
Checklist for tearing gear down and packing.
Checklist for studio shoots.
Checklist for road trips.
Etc…

But once in a while, it is nice to process all we have to think of when making an image. This checklist is somewhat different as it is all mental.
